Bonding Source stocks Teflon PTFE sheets, .005", .010", or. 015" thickness. These sheets are used between silicon press board and substrates to protect against any outgassing onto gold plated areas that will be wire bonded at a later stage. Teflon sheets also can be used to protect gold plated modules from scratches during handling in the production environment. Available in 12" x 12" sheets or laser cut as preforms to the circuit board shape. Teflon can be cleaned and re-used multiple times.
