February 2010, Bonding Source adds Micro Chisel Blades
For years, our sister company, IKE Micro has been getting chisel blades custom EDM milled in various sizes. They put the blades in a pin vise and use the micro chisel blades to remove die and components, and remove epoxy and solder from unwanted areas. After speaking with a number of customers, we found out lots of companies were fashioning their own blades or having them custom made by tool manufacturers. So we went went off and had thousands made and offer them in various sizes. As with all other products at Bonding Source, they are in stock and ready to go. More info here:

January 2010, Bonding Source Names Ablestik Pastes Product Line of the Year for 2009
We’ve shipped thousands of syringes of Ablestik pastes to hundreds of customers all over the world. Our customers use the pastes for both automatic and manual application in commercial and defense electronics assemblies. Not once, since we started carrying Ablestik in 2006, have we received a complaint or issued a RMA for an Ablestik paste. That’s quite a record,” says Bonding Source president Scott MacKenzie.
August 2009, Bonding Source Customer Count over 400!
The Bonding Source customer family has now surpassed the 400 mark since we opened the doors in March 2006. Our great customers come in all shapes and sizes and from all over the world. We have major defense companies that order epoxy pre-forms and pastes from us, telecom companies shipping to the pacific rim, and a whole host of small companies and universities that call up once every six months for a spool of wire or two tubes of paste. June 2009, Bonding Source Adds Ribbon Tools
Bonding Source will be offering a Gaiser/Coorstek line of ribbon wedges starting in July. Bonding Source will now offer bonding wedges for ribbon sizes .002" x .0005", .003" x .0005", .004" x 0005", .005" x .0005", .010" x .005", .005 x .001", .010" x .001". All wedges are vertical feed, designed for work on microwave modules. All wedges will be in stock for immediate delivery, with no minimum charges.
